The Italian BAOMARC Group (hereinafter referred to as "BAOMARC Company") is a subsidiary of Baosteel Metal Products Industry (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Products Hong Kong"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Baosteel Metal of Baowu Group. Products Hong Kong holds 75% of its shares. The Italian BAOMARC company is a well-known European auto parts enterprise group, founded in 1978, it is a multinational enterprise specializing in the development, design, and manufacturing of automotive roll bending parts, equipment, and molds. It is headquartered in Turin, Italy, and has factories located in Italy, France, Mexico, and Brazil. The main products are lightweight automotive parts made of high-strength steel/aluminum alloys.
BAOMARC AUTOMOTIVE SPA Group has first-class supplier qualifications and more than 40 years of technology accumulation. It provides users with full-process services from product design, process mold development to processing, and currently has more than 800 employees. Major customers include Volkswagen, Audi, Fiat, Renault, PSA, Ford, Scania, etc. Targeting the automotive OEM market, it mainly produces light commercial vehicle chassis assemblies and passenger vehicle body parts using high-strength steel and aluminum alloy as the main raw materials and rolling, stretch bending, and welding assemblies as the main processes. Its main customers are first-class OEMs in Europe and North America, including Renault, Fiat, Jeep, Maserati, Alfa Romeo, etc. under the Fiat Chrysler Group, as well as customers such as Peugeot Citroën, Volkswagen, and Audi. In terms of technical capabilities, BAOMARC is an enterprise with comprehensive technical solution capabilities, especially in the fields of professional automotive rolled parts and body aluminum alloy assemblies. It has certain competitive advantages compared with similar enterprises. The main product development personnel of BAOMARC come from European and American OEMs and have strong independent design capabilities; the process, mold, and equipment development personnel have many years of development experience. The BAOMARC Company is an important business unit of Baowu Group Baosteel Metal in promoting and implementing lightweight business in the transportation field.
